On a user profile (my own, in this case, as admin, I want access to restricted content) under Product Access, it is not possible to change the Expires date. After clicking Update Profile, the date is reverted to what it was before.

If you’re setting or updating an expiration date for any user (including your own profile), make sure you set the status to “enable” AND set the date. If you enter a date alone without setting status to “enable”, it won’t update the value.

This is a verification step so that the date isn’t changed when not specifically intended.

In terms of intuitiveness, this hasn’t been a major issue, but it has come up enough to indicate that it’s not as clear as it could be. In the 3.4 release, the status selector includes “update” as an option (which on the backend of things runs the same – it just adds a label for the user that may make it more intuitive).

That makes sense, but a checkbox would be better, because there is no reason I would look in the dropdown if the status is already enabled.
