Can’t change my profile email address

  • hope this is the right place to post this.

    Anyway, I’ve attempted several times to change my profile email address, but to no avail.

    The current one no longer exists, so I’d like to add my new email address. Any ideas where I’m going wrong. It’s normally a pretty straight forward process…

    Enter new email addy and press update. But nothing changes.

  • Strange…logout, clear your browser cache, clear your cookies, login and try again. If that doesn’t resolve try deactivating plugins.

    Oh, just realized what you meant.

    I’m referring to my profile here on this forum, not in my WP blog. Anyway, I just cleared my cache and cookies but still have the same issue.

    Don’t know if you guys send notification emails when someone replies to a post. That’s the main reason why I’d like to change my address.

    Oops, sorry missed you were talking about the forums. The problem you describe was fixed several months ago, but maybe it’s back.
