Gee, I can’t seem to edit my review (“You do not have permission to edit that topic.”) to reduce the score to 3 stars because of the addition of the annoying and unremovable “Security, performance, and growth tools for (your website)” in the Stats page. I wonder why?

Sorry if I complain here, but I can’t edit my review after all.

    Hi there,

Those options are not on the stats page. If you look at the stats page here: https://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=stats, you will not find them. But if you are looking at Dashboard here: https://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack#/dashboard, then you can find those options.

Those options are there for the convenience of our users. In fact, many users found those options helpful to quick access.

But it’s on the bottom of my /wp-admin/admin.php?page=stats page though… [screenshot].

Hopefully, it’s just a bug. It just annoys me that it’s the first thing I see in the stats page.

    There’s also a <div id="jp-stats-report-upgrade-wrap"> ??
I guess I’ll have to adblock my own admin page…

I’m sorry to hear you find those upgrade options annoying enough to make you want to change your review.

We feel that it’s reasonable to let users know what upgrades are available to them, and they are at the bottom of the page, where you don’t have to scroll past them and you can just ignore them if you’re not interested in upgrading.

Anyway, I’ll pass this on to our marketing team for consideration. Thanks for the feedback!
