Can't change size of slides

    I have played around with various options in MetaSlider that I want to try out on my site (https://jhansonhomes.com/portfolio), but the crucial changes don’t seem to be updating for me, i.e. changing the size of the slides from the default 700×300 to anything more square and/or larger.

    I would also like to try disabling the smart crop and see what that does, but when I uncheck that box and save, I reload my page and nothing had changed (I have tried clearing the cache, too).

    Any ideas?

  • Hi ristretto6,

    Your theme’s content column width is 470px, therefore your responsive slideshows will always be scaled down (or up) to fit in that area.

    You’d need to edit the theme to widen the content column. It’s not a straight forward thing to do so you would need to contact the theme author if you’re not sure how to do this.
