    Hi, great plug-in!
I’ve changed my subdivision hover colour a couple of times without any issues. However, this time, the colour isn’t changing to my new colour. Any ideas?
    Many thanks ??

    Hi nillamary,

    thanks for contacting me!
Would be better having the chance to check the page where the map apply, but remember that hover color works only when you set a link on that region for which you need the hover color. Furthermore you need to check the tickbox in Subdivision tab, have you done both ?? ?

    Thnaks

    Hi Enrico,

You can check it out now as I’ve disabled the Maintenance Mode page: https://ecbiz209.inmotionhosting.com/~nillas5/

Yes, to all your questions above, prior to opening this support ticket.

Not sure what the problem was but had to log out/in WP. Then the way I’ve got around it is to change the map background hover colour to the same as my page background. Then, changed colours for visited countries. The only issue is that when you hover over a country that I haven’t visited, there’s no hover effect, it’s flat. Can this be changed or not?

    Cheers

    Hi nillamary,

from what I can see actually hover and selected colour are same as background, that’s why it seems there is no over action.
I’ve checked same world map and it works fine for me. I’ve used different color for hover and selected regions.
Are you using a cache system? Maybe you just need to clean the cache.

I was wrong by the way when I said in first reply the hover color works just in presence of a link behind, it works anyway.

Let me know and good luck!

    Hi,

Yes, I changed the hover now as same as the background. So, then I could individually assign different colours to countries. (I’ve cleared the cache more times than I can count.)

Changing the hover colour changes this for the whole map, which isn’t what I wanted. What I’d like to do is have the background colour and hover colour the same, but when hovering, some sort of movement slight zoom, or other. However, I can’t see anywhere to do this.
I’d like countries visited in different colours as I’ve changed these over now.

    Thank you!
