After the 5.6.2 update on one of 2 sites, which are configured almost the same, the Title defaults to “The Faces Gallery” when creating new pages or editing those published with the Classic editor. Posts behave the same.
Using the Block Editor there does not appear to be an issue.
I can start a new page with the Block Editor, switch to Classic, the heading becomes “The Faces Gallery”, add some content, Save as Draft, switch to Block, change the heading to what I want and Publish. This is not the way it is supposed to work. Why is the Classic editor stuck on a default Title.

I have cleared the cache, cookies and switched browsers. I’ve checked for Java Script errors. jQuery Migrate Helper is working.
Using the Health Check Plugin, with all plugins disabled on the Twenty Twenty, Theme and just the Classic Editor plugin enabled the problem still occurs.

We use the block editor for new pages but we have a lot of pages still using the Classic editor. The similar site is https://gbartcentre.com/

    Suggestions?

Most likely, you have some other plugin interfering somehow. Try disabling all your other plugins and seeing if the problem goes away. Also switch to a default theme and test with that.

    Thank you Samuel,
I just repeated what you suggested. Nothing changed with respect being able to use the Classic Editor.
In addition since my original posting I have deleted and reinstalled the Classic Editor and reinstalled version 5.6.2.
I’m stumped at what to do next.

This turned out to be caused by the LastPass password manager. Logging out stopped the problem.
