can't "checkout" when shipping is activated

    I did this: installed WP e-commerce

    I expected WP e-Commerce to do this: allow me to select shipping (I plan on using UPS’ shipping with API)

    Instead it did this: I could either have the shipping checked, and not be able to checkout, or I could uncheck “enable shipping” and be able to checkout. However, I can’t add shipping to the order and do both. Any ideas? I’m new to this (will be my first site ever, so I’m sure it’s user error somewhere). Thanks everyone!
