Can’t choose the initial size of the images in a gallery

Loved your plugin, so simple and cool. But I guess it’s missing an important feature that the WP Media gallery provides – to choose the initial size of an image.

Let’s say I want to have a gallery in tiles on my page. If every single image loads in original (max) resolution because I’m accessing the website on my desktop, that’s wrong. Because the width of one image would be not more than 300px, for instance.
When I load the website on mobile, it does use srcset and loads smaller resolution because of the mobile screen, but not on desktops…

I found a similar topic but it’s slightly about different stuff I think.

And I don’t think there is an option to create a standard WP gallery and then apply your ’tiles’ style to it? I’m using WP blocks and Kadence theme.
