Can’t choose tip without reloading

I am using the order tip shortcode to display the tip option only if a customer chooses local delivery as their shipping option. However, when a user chooses delivery, the tip buttons are greyed out and unclickable until you refresh the page. After a refresh it works fine, but most customers aren’t going to understand. There are no console errors when this happens. I appreciate any help you can offer!
