Are you trying to comment using either your name and a different email address or a different name and the right address ?

No… It has me already logged ing (using the kubric based theme for now and that is what it says. “Tek is logged in. Logout?”

No. Why would I do that?

Because it says that your email address is invalid, so we need to try other email addresses in order to determine if your email address is invalid, or if everyone’s email address is invalid. This will help us all get to the bottom of the problem. It’s called “troubleshooting”.

If you read my problem you will see that I said that OTHERS can comment yet not me.

If you re going to be an ass about it, I would prefer you don’t help since the majority of your replies to me are somewhat sarcastic. Either you want to help or not. You can check the attitude at the door.

My apologies, I was just knee-dee in support requests which were just pouring in every minute. The email address you are trying to enter, is it a .com, .net, .org? Does it have any special characters like underscores?

Could it be a cookie issue? Try logging out and logging back in.

I think it’s something to do with how the login / auth cookie (or something works).
When I went up to one of the cvs versions, WP went to autocomplete the comment form with my real address – but I use a gmail for commenting everywhere. So I had to sort out which address WP was using as I have two – the admin and the user.

I’m wondering whether your name is associated with the address, or the address with the name and the cookie doesn’t fit. Like if someone was to try and comment using your name / email on your blog – that sort of protection. But that’s a guess…

Not sure. its the same email. I think I will change the admin email in WP and see what happens

i’m also having this problem, only difference is that both me and my friends can’t post comments…
