    I’m trying to set up this plugin. In the first step it asks me to connect to my WordPress.com account. When I click on the “Connect” button, a page loads that says “Connecting to” and it shows the right WordPress.com account. When I click on the button “Allow”, it shows “Your connection is getting authorised” and then a few seconds later “Connected as [my username]. Returning to your site”. The plugin page loads again, but it’s ‘stuck’ on the same step: “Connect to your WordPress.com account”. I’ve tried it several times, but it doesn’t go to the next step.

    You can resolve the issue by completely disconnecting the current connection and setting it up afresh. Here’s how:

    • Go to this debug page: example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=connection-test-admin-page (replace example.com with your domain)
    • Under Merchant Center, click MC Disconnect
    • Under Google Account, click Disconnect Google Account
    • Go to Marketing > Google Listing & Ads and initiate a fresh connection.

    That should allow you to complete the setup. Let us know how that goes.

    Thank you for your very swift reply! The first step is now complete (connected to WordPress account), but I’m having the same issue with the second step (connect to Google account). Do I repeat the step above but now only for the Google account?

    Yes, please go ahead and repeat the same steps for the Google account and Merchant Center.

    I will quote the same steps for reference:
