    The plugin asks for permissions and at the end of the process I get an error that doesn’t allow me to complete the set up. Sometimes it’s a 404 error sometimes it’s a “getting cookie failed” error. The plugin doesn’t work.

    Can you please attempt the steps below in order to get Site Kit connected:
    1. Reset Site Kit
    2. Temporarily deactivate any caching plugins you might have active
    3. Install Site Kit in a new incognito window

    There may also be some security plugins or hosting software impacting your setup. But please attempt the above first.

    I fixed the issue by temporarily disabling Itheme security which was causing the error. It was indeed blocking incoming reset API.
