    Hello,
    I’m setting up CardConnect for the first time and after downloading / activating the plugin, I’ve entered my credentials, and I’m getting Warnings:

    Port 6443 is closed.
    You will not be able to process transactions using the sandbox CardConnect environment.
    First ensure that the ‘Site’ field is set and saved correctly above.
    Then please request that your server admin or hosting provider opens port 6443.

    Port 8443 is closed.
    You will not be able to process transactions using the production CardConnect environment.
    First ensure that the ‘Site’ field is set and saved correctly above.
    Then please request that your server admin or hosting provider opens port 8443.

    However, I’ve contacted our Host and they assure me that those ports are open. Is there something else to try?

    I am facing the same issue, hosting server says they have opened the port, however woocommerce says the ports are not opened!! Please help.

    Have you reached out to your CardConnect account rep? This may indicate that you need to have your hosting company open the ports for a specific set of IPs. Keep in mind, both ports 6443 and 8443 need to be opened and allowed through any firewalls. Also, if you have a security plugin active, temporarily disable it and see if the ports open on the WooCommerce CardConnect settings page.
