Can’t confirm account at help.averta.net

Following your advice at the top of this forum, I created an account at the Averta Support Center. I received an email with a link to confirm my email address, but when I clicked that link, I got this error message: “Sorry, the confirmation link you clicked was invalid or expired. If you copied and pasted it, please make sure part of the link was not cut off.”
I requested and received another confirmation email, and got the same result when I clicked the link in that one. (In both cases, I clicked the link as soon as I received the email, so it definitely was not expired.)
