Hi! I have an installation of wordpress on my ubuntu server that doesn’t seem to be able to connect to plugin API’s. I am seeing the problem with WP Mail SMTP and have tried connecting Clover Payments, Square, and Stripe to WooCommerce with no success as well. I know the keys I am using are good as I have them other sites on a different server. I followed the tutorials to REST API and still didn’t have any luck. Https is allowed on my server and port 443 is open. Any ideas how to find errors to point me towards a fix or what my server could be missing?

Thank you for the quick response! The server that I was initially having the problems on was a ubuntu server that I built. After trying your suggestion and everything I could find on google I threw in the towel and decided to just get godaddy hosting because it would eliminate any error on my part of the server configuration that I was unknowingly missing. I opened up a brand new instillation of wordpress with godaddy, installed the necessary plugins to run woocommerce with the clover plugin and mailgun. Even with the minimal plugins and default theme I ended up with the same results. (There are no payment methods available. This may be an error on our side. Please contact us if you need any help placing your order.)

I then went ahead and set up a payment method through godaddy hoping it would work, but neither godaddy payments or clover show up on the front end (yes all are enabled). There was a new version of wordpress released 3 days ago. Could there be a bug in it not allowing these things to connect correctly? Would this be a wordpress or woocommerce problem?

I recommend getting in touch with WooCommerce’s support here about this if you have any of their paid WooCommerce products, or?here?if you do not.

Thank you for those links. After some thought I really think it is a wordpress error since the mailgun plugin API doesn’t work either and it has nothing to do with woocommerce.
