I’ve tried to connect to the Jetpack server but it keeps getting this error message:

Invalid request, please go back and try again.
    Error Code: invalid_request
Error Message: The URL stored by the Jetpack servers does not match your site. Please try disabling the Jetpack plugin, re-enable it, then connect again.

I’ve deleted and re-installed the Jetpack plugin several times but the same error keeps showing up.

    Thanks in advance for help!

  • Hi there,

Sometimes this error can be caused by a theme conflict; could you try temporarily switching to a default theme like https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/themes/twentytwenty/ and seeing if you can reconnect?

If that doesn’t work, please share your URL here so we can investigate further.

    Thank you!

Hi Emily, we’re testing out the WooCommerce Tax & Shipping plugin and it needs to connect to Jetpack on a Dev/Staging site so we’d rather not publish the URL.

I tried switching to the official WooCommerce “storefront” theme and it still did not connect to Jetpack with the same error message coming up.

Is there a way to file a ticket that we could include the Dev URL and setup a temp admin account?

    Thanks in advance!
