Cant connect to the blog

    Yesterday it was working fine but today when i got up it just doesn’t work. And the server works fine i can access specific images of my site but neither the blog or the wp-admin site. And a download-files-php-script i got works to so nothing wrong with the PHP.

    Some help would be great!

  • Anything in your web server error logs?

    Any upgrades made by your host last night?

    Did *you* make any changes (add plugins, perhaps) last night?

    I haven’t done anything since last time it all was working, not even a post. The website Admin is away and i cant get a hold of him. On the same site is a different installation of WP and that works fine, so something must be up with my WP installation.

    If you need the web admin to look at your logs, I dunno if there’s much else to suggest.

    Suppose you could FTP to the site and pull out the plugins (wp-content/plugins) to see if one of those is stuffing things up.

    hmm.. i couldn’t get the log file.. but i noticed this, when checking the disk usage on the server:

    I’m not very good with UNIX systems, but doesn’t that mean the hard drive is full? And could that be the source of the problem?

    Yikes. That doesn’t look good from this angle!

    ok.. this is strange.. now it works, i didn’t do anything but logging on via SSH and look around… hmm
