Can’t connect to WordPress: Unable to Insert Blog

    Hi,

    My clients site cannot connect jetpack to WordPress.com. I see this error:

    “Unable to Insert Blog”

    I have deactivated all plugins and tried a default theme and confirmed my xmlrpc.php file is there.

    Our version of WordPress runs in a subfolder called /wp/ with a custom wp-content directory.

    I believe the site may have previously been registered with WordPress.com BEFORE these custom directories were implemented. From reading other blog posts you may have to do something your end to help the site connect?

    This was resolved by the support team on another support ticket, they have to reconfigure the domain inside WordPress.com to make it work.
