Here is another problem that just cropped up. Out of nowhere, a second div showed up… displaying the original content before I edited it. However, as it is now, only the unedited one displays on the page and if I delete the unedited one, then the other is still there but it doesn’t appear on the actual page. I have no idea what I did or what happened to create this mess but I am totally clueless how to fix it.
Here is an image of that part of the page (below the contact form) in Elementor

Plus the social media icons are gone.
thanks for any help you can give.

  • Hey @revdarkwing,

It’s not a real issue, the template has 2 identical sections in the footer but one is created only for mobile (the first one) while the second one is for desktop/tablet.
There’s a tab in the Advanced section of the widget called Responsive. There you will find controls to enable hiding on devices. If you can use just one section on all devices just delete the other one and make sure that under Responsive no toggle is set to “hide”.

The social media icons need to have the URL to your site, just grab it from your media library and replace the img src in the HTML widget.

Let me know if your issue is solved or you need further help.

those media icons are not in my media file. Never were to my knowledge. If I look at the HTML code for those icons.. it appears that those icons were located on themeisle.. and not on my server. It directs to:
    demo.themeisle.com/neve/wp-content/uploads/sites/164/2018/10/neve-facebook.png”
for the facebook icon for example

I looked again at your site and from what I can tell something didn’t work properly when the content imported.
We’d like to help figure out what happened and would appreciate if you could contact us via https://themeisle.com/contact/ to be able to investigate further.
