Can't create a gallery

When I try to create a gallery or upload images, I get an error
Directory /var/www/vhosts/howtodecorate.com/httpdocs is not writeable !
Check this link, if you didn’t know how to set the permission : https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_File_PermissionsSafe mode is OFF – This was working fine a couple of days ago and I don’t know why this started all of a sudden
