    Hi bethplummer,
Thanks for posting. You can simply create a scoreboard in that box with whatever name you want. It works exactly the same way as regular categories for posts (which it actually is). Just choose your name wisely, then add the same scoreboard to the set of games you want in that scoreboard.

Then you need to add the shortcode to a page. Examples are on dev.shoalsummitsolutions.com. And the documentation can be found at shoalsummitsolutions.com

    Hi,

we can’t seem to add a scoreboard or choose one. Nothing happens. I have tried several browsers.

I can add a scoreboard by clicking
    games
going to far right and click NONE under scoreboard
and adding a scoreboard…I added three
But then I can’t choose any for the games

    Okay, I am confused.

    1. You are editting a game. In the right hand column, you type in a scoreboard name (or selected one from the most used list), and click the Add button. You save the game. Right?

    2. Then you add the appropriate shortcode to a page with the scoreboard slug. Right?

So here’s what might be tripping you up (primarily because the documentation sucks) … you need to add the scoreboard SLUG, not its NAME in the shortcode. And there is no easy why to find the slug other than to know that WordPress creates slugs by making all words lower case and replacing spaces (and punctuation) with hyphens. So in the first example on the MSTW development site’s scoreboard page, the scoreboard is named “NFL Week 16”, and the slug is ‘nfl-week-16’.

I hope that’s what you are after.

I am having the same problem in MSTW SS (Not in Team Rosters)

Have upgraded to WP 4.6.1 and MSTW 1.4.1

For Games, I cannot select Scoreboard.
For Venues, I cannot select a Group.

    1) when editing a Game, I see the dropdown title MSTW Scoreboards. But there is no dropdown box itself. There is an expand arrow, but clicking it does not expand the section.

    2) when editing a Venue, I see the ADD OR choose from most frequently used hyperlink. But neither works.

    Help!

Just in case I wasn’t clear, it’s the Metabox that I cannot seem to get to work.
    Thanks

    Okay, that’s very strange.

    1. What theme are you using? Change the theme to a standard wordpress theme, say twenty eleven, or twenty twelve, and see if anything changes. Don’t worry about the front end being in all likelihood scrambled, just check out the metabox.

    2. Deactivate all other plugins. Check out the metabox. If it’s working you can activate the plugins one at a time and see what’s causing the problem.

    3. Turn on DEBUG and send output to your debug.log. (Google “wordress debugging” for a slew of articles on how to do this.) See if you are getting any warnings, notices, or errors that appear to be related.

    Let me know.
