Hi @claudiomazzarago thanks for opening a support topic and sorry to hear you’re having issues installing Site Kit to your site. Please could you provide some further information so that I can assist you with this.

    1. Have you tried installing the plugin while logged in as an admin on your site by going to Plugins > Add New and searching for Site Kit? If so do you get any errors when trying via this method?
    2. Is this happening after you try to upload the plugin yourself or are you having an issue downloading the plugin zip files?
    3. Could you share your Site Health Information using our private form so that I can check your setup for anything that stands out.

Let me know if you have any questions on the above.

Hi Adam, thanks for getting back to me.
Yes I tried the installation as a website administrator. I tried to install the plugin both from Plugin> Add new (and then uploading the .zip file) and both with search. Either way I get the same error (the one I said in my first message).
To this I can add that I have checked to install other plugins and I have no problems doing it and also I have checked the user permissions on the wp folders and everything seems to be in order.
I have shared the requested information on the private form. Thank you !

@claudiomazzarago Thanks for the added information. You mention on the Site Health Information form you submitted that you use Site Kit on any site that you manage. Have you successfully installed Site Kit on all other sites you manage and are any of the other sites hosted using MS Azure?

Hi they are all with MS Azure and no problem with them. I must say, however, that I have installed GSite Kit on the others in the past (not today). I saw that the GSite Kit plugin received an update 2 days ago. Perhaps this recent update contains a bug that creates my problem? thanks

Thank you for explaining further and unusual that you can install other plugins without encountering the same issue. Could I please ask if you encounter the same problem when trying to install a previous version of the Site Kit plugin?

We have had a previous report similar to this which seemed to affect all recently updated plugins but so far this has only impacted Site Kit for you. Can you install any other plugin both by uploading the zip file and from the WordPress search?

hi, I can confirm that I can install other plugins. I managed to install SiteKit by manually copying the entire directory via ftp now (the last version i mean).

@claudiomazzarago Glad to hear that manually copying the entire directory via ftp allowed you to install the plugin. I will mark this topic as resolved but please don’t hesitate to reach out in future if you have any further issues or questions.
