I am getting this error message when trying to activate page cache in the w3totalcache plugin.

Can't change configuration: Can't create folder /opt/bitnami/wordpress/wp-content/cache/tmp: mkdir(): Permission denied

I am using bitnami wordpress multisite stack in amazon lightsail.

    Thank you.

    Hello @sonill

I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to assist you with this.
This is most likely the problem with files/folder permissions.
W3 Total Cache needs to have write permission in order to create folders and files, and also, drop-in files.
Please make sure that the Permissions are set as follows:
    755 – folders
    644 – Files.

You can also try manually creating the tmp folder in the /wp-content/cache/

    I hope this helps!

    Thanks!
