Can't create gallery with images from google drive

I have this plugin linked to a public folder on our Google Drive that contains a few images. I can display these images separately on a page, but I cannot create a gallery with them. The gallery shows their captions but not the images. I can create a gallery of local images in the wp media library on this page so I know the gallery works.
