• Changing my review from 1 star to 4 stars, given that I’ve managed to figure out what my issue was (it was role/permission settings problem).

    Here’s my original message:

When trying to create a listing as a non-privileged user, I get the following (entirely unhelpful) error:

Sorry! Something Wrong with Your Submission

I don’t see any way to debug what the issue is.

This is without any modifications of the settings (I reset the settings to default values).

  • Hi @jcbrand,

I’m having the same issue on the add listing / user side. Could you please details which role/permission settings did you make? I presume is related to uploading images, right?

    Cheers,
    Sebastian

@sflorian I can’t remember the exact details anymore. There was a plugin that I used, either Directorist, or Jobify, that added new roles, and in the settings of that plugin, newly created users were configured to have this custom role and not one of the standard WordPress roles.
