Can’t create new posts in v2.7, reverts to blank post template

    Hi, I’ve just moved from version 2.3 (I think) to the latest version of wordpress (2.7). I have added a few posts which work fine and show up all well and good. Then, a couple of days ago I tried to create a new post and when I clicked on publish, the page transtioned to my post list page and the new post wasn’t there. Assuming I’d done something wrong I tried it again and the same thing happened.

    I tried it again using a different post article and the same thing happened again. Everytime I try to make a post now, the page goes to post list and nothing happens. I’ve looked on here at the forums but can only really find reference to widgets affecting it in this way. I’ve looked and I don’t have any widgets installed or active. I don’t want to have to reinstall if I can help it.

    Anyone got any answers as to why this might be happening? I could use the help as I use the blog for my company and everyday it’s not working is potentially limiting my business.

    I have same problem with worpress 2.7.1 any idea or progress?

    Hi OzzyQ, No progress yet, I can’t work it out. I’ve no widget’s installed, nothing has changed since I first used it and yet it’s just stopped allowing me to post anything. If I can’t get it sorted soon, I’m going to have to switch to b2evolution or something.
