Can’t customize homepage (static)

I am creating a website using Alante eBoxed. Originally, I didn’t have it set to a static page, but changed it over to a static page by creating a new ‘home’ page (everything ported over) And it is listed under pages as my front page. My issue is, when I go to edit the page literally nothing is shown there other than the word ‘home.’ However, I have tons of pictures and text on the home page. Customizing other pages works fine.
