Can't Customize Theme

I am a new wordpress user and I’m trying to make a website. I have installed the theme “Active: Spacious” for my site but I’m having some issues. I get the side menu to upload pictures and change the names and stuff, but I cannot actually see the site. I get a little ball that rolls around in circles.

Is there anyway to see my site while I am editing it?
