    I upgraded my website to wordpress 5.02 and installed the classic Editor plugin. It works great BUT I have just one issue. The default editor whern I cerate post is the HTML editor. How can I definie the visual editor as default ?

    Hoping I understand your question right. Both the Classic Editor and the Block Editor “remember” what mode you used last time (text or visual) and open it again. Just switch to visual and it will stay the default.

    Thanks for the answer I tried that but it is nor working. Meanwhile I switched to anotehr theme and then it works so it seems linked to DIVI theme that I am using

    ANd to be more precise I specified that bock can not be used so I am well using classic edior but inside classic editor it shows by default the HTML editor and normally by default classic editor shows visual editor

    Right. Seems there is something in the theme that is either preventing it to save which editor is the default or forcing it to the Text tab.

    This is the first time I’m hearing about this problem, so it doesn’t seem common. It may be caused by another plugin interfering. For now I’d suggest posting to the theme’s support forum or asking for help there. It is possible they may know about the reasons.
