Can’t delete existing header and footer

    I am just starting a new website and are having an issue with the a header and footer that I can’t seem to delete and that go over the top of my other content. The header has the text “BEAUTY WITHOUT EXPRESSION IS BORING”

    Some details:
    Someone else did the inital set up for me and says that they didn’t add this and it was already there
    I have Avada installed as well.

    I get this notification under Avada options for Header – “IMPORTANT NOTE: The options on this tab are not available because a global Header override is currently used. To edit your global layout please visit this page, or edit the header”
    If I click on the link for editing the header here it takes me to a page that says “Sorry, you are not allowed to edit posts in this post type.”

    I’ve been going around in circles with this. Is anyone able to offer any advice?
