• I have just installed Media Library Plus. It loaded the folders we had in WordPress’s Media Library in the old in-construction version of our website. I can’t get rid of them – when I click “delete folder,” nothing happens. Also, I’m seeing this message: “Current PHP version, 5.3.3, is outdated. Please upgrade to version 5.6. The URL to the folder or image is not correct: https://mac-preview.mo.gov/wp-content/uploads.” Yes, the URL is incorrect – that’s the preview site, which we have taken down, so it no longer exists. How can I clean out all this old gook so I can start building accurate new folders?

First you can deactivate Media Library Plus and then activate and run Media Library Plus Reset to clear out your current Media Library Plus data. Then you need to install and run the Better Search and Replace plugin to correct any of the old URLs still in your database. Be sure to backup your database first and when using Better Search and Replace check the option to update ‘guids’. Also uncheck the dry run option.

Once you have corrected the old URLs then you can reactivate Media Library Plus and it will do a fresh scan of your Media Library data.
