Can’t delete older posts

  • In 2013 I imported some posts from xml to my blog and associate this posts with author like ‘xml2013’. Now I can’t edit these posts. I can create new posts and edit, delete any posts, but edit old entries – no.
    Open any posts url in broser like ‘wp-admin/post.php?post=27582&action=edit’ -> edit posts and pres ‘update’ -> redirect to ‘wp-admin/edit.php’ ‘All posts’
    Trying disable all plugins, but it did not help. Now I update old posts via phpmyadmin.

  • Hi Vincent,

    Is your user definitely an administrator? If so, you could try using a plugin such as User Role Editor to make sure your user has the capabilities edit_others_posts and edit_published_posts.

    Now in my blog only one user – administrator. This plugin don’t help me.
