Can't Delete Page

is not a page, it probably a category.

What’s odd is that it appears to be neither. When I am on a page or in a category, there will usually be a link at the top of the page that says “Edit Blog” or “Edit Category”. Neither are there. Also, just FYI, I am new to WordPress.

This will only appear when you are logged into the site, and viewing the front-end. Also, I think you need to be an administrator to see those links.

Also check your admin panel “categories” and “tags” to see if it pops up there.

It doesn’t show up in either. Is there any way to create a page without it appearing in the pages list? Is that what could have happened? Right now, I’m just not sure what it is.

Well, not specifically a page.

Go to your admin panel -> posts -> categories… and check there.

Then go to admin panel -> posts -> tags… and check there.

Then go to admin panel -> links… and check there.

It’s not there. Could the problem possibly be that the page I would like to delete is the home page? If so, how can I reassign/delete a home page?

Thanks everyone, I’m not sure exactly what I did (I was having some trouble with Josh’s last post) but my problem seems to have fixed itself. I’m not marking this topic as resolved in case anyone else has a similar problem. I really appreciate the quick responses.
