Can’t delete recurring events that do not exist

    Hello
    I installed EM after I wasn’t pleased anymore with Event Organiser. I proceeded to create some events, then recurring events which all went fine. I did however discover that the recurring events couldn’t have images in their shortcode for some reason which, to me, was crucial.
    I deleted the recurring ones and cleaned the wastebasket only to realise that they were still visible in all of the eventspages and shortcuts.

    I noticed that their url isn’t like the permalinks of the other pages and remembered that at one time or the other I couldn’t “view” the page after saving it.

    I already deleted and reinstalled the plugin, changed permalinks multiple times, did a database clean (albeit with a plugin).

    Can anyone tell me why these 3 recurring events can’t be deleted and how I can remove them foreveR.

    Ok, never mind. I found the “orphaned” option somewhere in the menu and it does the trick.

    Crisis averted!
