Uploaded MailPoet 3 to my website with 70,000+ user accounts.

I only intend to email a select number with MailPoet, but because WordPress users are counted as a list, the plugin is immediately defunct.

I’ve tried to trash and disable the list as suggested, but the function won’t work. Possibly trying to wipe 70,000+ accounts off a list is causing a resource failure and I get an error 500.

Error log has a number of mailpoet issues but the latest is:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘MailPoetVendor\Doctrine\ORM\Persisters\Entity\BasicEntityPersister’ not found in …./wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/vendor-prefixed/doctrine/orm/lib/Doctrine/ORM/UnitOfWork.php:2

    What can you advise?

Is MailPoet able to clear the 70,000 accounts? Any help on getting MailPoet operational would be great, I would have thought this problem would be a common occurrence if limits kick in at 1000 users.

Still no response ?? Would really like to try this plugin.

I have to say it seems very silly for mailpoet to become immediately unusable if you have more than 1000 wordpress users.

I would strongly advise not to follow some of MailPoet’s advice here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/cant-delete-subscribers-2/

Deleting your customers accounts seems a nonsensical idea.

Please help us come to a solution MailPoet!

    Hi @pagecrawler,

The issue you’re facing when trying to manage your subscribers sounds like a memory limit issue. In this case, we suggest increasing the memory limit.

If most of your subscribers are WordPress Users and you’re not planning on sending emails to them, you don’t have to delete them all. You can simply disable the WordPress Users list as mentioned here: The WordPress Users List

This way, these users won’t be counted towards the subscriber’s limit.

However, if you still have more than 1,000 subscribers in total, you’ll need to purchase a paid Premium license in order to keep using the plugin.

    Hi Bruna

Thank you for your response! This should not be marked as resolved.

Yes I think it’s a memory limit issue, as stated in the first post
“Possibly trying to wipe 70,000+ accounts off a list is causing a resource failure and I get an error 500

My memory is set at 256M. What would you suggest?

The link you have provided is the solution I tried and mentioned in the first post that doesn’t work due to the memory issue above:
“I’ve tried to trash and disable the list as suggested”

So we are back to square one with no resolution so far.
