• Hello,

As we use Amelia Booking tool and they had recommend your tool for the Cron Jobs I had installed the previous version of your plugin which had a problem with adding the PHP Cron job command.

As we went online before your update I asked my hoster for help and my hoster then added the Amelia Cron Job through the webhosting.

Then I deactived your plugin and deleted it. Now, I get always a message that I still have a cron job who is not running correctly.

So, I re-installed and re-activated your newest version of WP-Crontrol. I see the customized cron job but unfortuneatly I can’t delete it – see print screen with the error message:

Do you have a hint or an advice how and where I can get rid of it? Or can you tell me how I can edit the cron job. It seems there is a restriction somewhere.

Thank you so much in advance for your help.
    Kind regards,
    Brigitte

PS: WordPress 5.8.2, WP-Crontrol 1.12.0, everything is updated, PHP 8.x

  • Your screenshot is broken, but I am having a similar issue (I think). Somehow, I have 2 “phantom” cron events that I am unable to delete. These are PHP Cron events that I previously created with WP Crontrol, and are past due by 6+ months. Yet, I’m not able to edit them or delete them. Interestingly, there is also a “current” version of these cron events that are set up properly and running fine.

So I’m not sure how to delete these past-due ones, since I keep getting “The cron event list could not be saved.”.

@garconis Hi Jon, thank you for your comment. Yes, it seems somehow to be the same issue. Strange that my print screen link is broken. I can opened in the browser but have uploaded it again. Mine were also PHP Cron evens. It’s the same issue actually.
