Can’t delete user role

    Hi so I’m having a problem deleting a user role that was created. When I click to delete it under “user roles”. The page refreshes but it is still there. No confirmation messages. It is the “players” user role.

    However, the only reason I need to delete this role is because it isn’t showing up in the dropdown for the users. So I think I may have to create it again. Is this because it wasn’t create in Ultimate Member?

    Hi @jenclickspring,

    It doesn’t look like an Ultimate member user role thus you can’t delete it.
    What “dropdown for the users” are you referring to? You can manually add this role to the roles dropdown on your form settings -> roles dropdown settings or delete and then re-add your roles dropdown.

    Hi,

    So I need “player” as a role in the dropdown here in order to assign roles for each user: https://i66.tinypic.com/l8eoo.jpg . But for some reason it isn’t there. Yet “player” is listed as a role in “user roles” here: https://i63.tinypic.com/2dlulty.png . I can’t remember where I created the user role “player”…

    So therefore, I need to delete it in order to create it again in Ultimate Member. That’s how I can get it to show in the dropdown to assign to users.

    Please note that to see the screenshots correctly…you might have to copy and paste the links into the browser. Not sure why it isn’t working when I click on it.

    Hi,

    On my site, I installed a plugin that created its own unique user roles.

    I deactivated, then later deleted the plugin.

    The two roles remain. There are no users with these roles.

    Like @jenclickspring , I selected and deleted these on the User Roles screen, but they still appear there.

    How do I remove these from the list?
