• Their documentation is FALSE. It says you can show which tab to show as ‘open’, but they do not show you how to do it. My request to customer service for assistance with this has gone UNANSWERED for 17 days.
This plugin defaults to showing the first tab as open. If you have 5 tabs, it does not let you designate that you want to show the 2nd or 3rd, etc tab as the one that is open. If you only use these tabs on one page, perhaps it will work for you. But if you want to use the tabs on multiple pages and open the tab that matches the page, you cannot specify this.
This is not a robust plugin at all. Being able to designate which tab you want to show as ‘open’ is basic functionality in my opinion. I could have developed my own plugin by now.
I will give a better review once they add this functionality and step up their customer support.

  • I’m in the same boad… wanted to have a diff tab open by default or have all closed by default, but I don’t know how. I’m sure there’s a way to do it. Please post back if you figure it out!

Other than this huge issue, this is THE BEST of the tab plugins that I’ve been able to find.

I solved it, kindly update 2.5 version and go into tabs settings panel. Select which tabs you want to view first. Its at initial Opening Settings.

Hope you will like this and consider your rating.
