Can’t Disable Coming Soon Page

    Hi.
    I cant seem to totally disable the coming soon page. From the plugin setting, i have disabled the page. But when i try to save all setting, this brings a 404 error page. I tried to deactivate but still not working.
    When i google for the company name Ledco Ltd, the site still shows that “we are launching soon” even though this should be disabled.
    Kindly help.

    Hi Alex,

    The site still shows that it has the coming soon page when i search on google. Pls search ledco ltd on google and see what i’m talking about.
    And also, when the coming soon page was enabled and there was a countdown to the day when i wanted the site to be live, i thought the timer would automatically disable the page whn the countdown was done. Instead, i had to go and manually disable this page so that the site goes live (which was really a let down) but still, if i search for my site, it still has the same title and shows like the coming soon page is enabled.

    Hi Jacq, OK that`s because Google crawls websites in intervals (which can be even days) for any changes. If you are using Google Analytics, you can ask for new indexing under Search Console or simply wait some time..

    But this is not connected to CMP – it is correctly disabled as you can see if you access your website.

    I am sorry to hear that automatic disabling after countdown expires did not work for you – I have just tested on our dev server, and it works as expected..
