Can’t disable “Flexible Payment Options” from showing at checkout

    We actually don’t use this payment gateway actively but have the plugin enabled with the payment method disabled so that old WC Subscription renewal will still charge correctly. BUT the recent upgrade adds a new “Flexible Payment Options” method visible on checkout and we can’t find a way to disable this without disabling the plugin. Help!

  • Had the same problem. You can fix it by changing the element type to ‘card element’ from woocommerce->settings->payments->stripe card processing, then the ‘settings tab’ (default location should be your website/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=cpsw_api_settings

    Wow thanks @alv212 … will that change disrupt past subscriptions?

    I’m assuming it won’t disrupt past subscriptions b/c those were setup before Payment Elements was an option. Thanks for your help!!

    I agree, it shouldn’t, hopefully the dev’s will update us on why this happened.

    Hello @contemplate and @alv212,

    Our recent update includes the ‘Payment Element’ functionality. If you enable this option instead of the ‘Card Element’, you will see the ‘Flexible Payment Options’ title in the checkout payments section. However, you can easily change this title in the plugin settings. Please refer to this screen recording for guidance: https://bsf.d.pr/v/vX87g2.

    Alternatively, as @alv212 suggested, you can switch back to the ‘Card Element’. Both options will not cause any issues with past subscriptions.
