Can't display a video

    I’m trying to upload a video through WP, but when I insert it into the post I only get a link. I’ve tried doing the same in the Visual tab (I usually use the HTML), but the same happens. What am I doing wrong?

    So it’s not at all possible to play a video without a plugin? Which plugin do you recommend?

    Not unless you’re embedding a video from a third party site such as YouTube.

    I’m afraid I couldn’t offer any personal recommendation. I can only suggest that you look for a plugin that is updated regularly with a good support record.
