• I haven’t made any changes to my page. I did create a post on 4/26 , but no changes. Today when I log in to create a post I get a message that wp needs to be updated and may take a while. THIS message immediately comes up. Please Help me! I can’t get passed this message and I have no idea where to even start. It’s all greek to me. “Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/content/s/h/e/shelbybazemore/html/wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php on line 1352”

    Try:
    – deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the unedited default Twenty Fifteen theme for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

Thank you. How do I even get to them? I can only open the site and view images. I’m logged on, but that’s as far as I can get. This is what I get once I’m logged on and try to access post or anything else.

If you don’t have access to your dashboard, then try:

    – deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s). When you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try deactivating via FTP or SFTP or whatever file management application provided by your hosting provider (cPanel…). Also remember to deactivate any plugins in the mu-plugins folder (If you have created such folder). The easiest way is to rename that folder to mu-plugins-old.
    – If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the unedited default Twenty Fifteen theme for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins). When you don’t have access to your admin area, use FTP or SFTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and switch to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder by adding “-old” to the end of the folder name. Alternately, you can remove other themes except the default theme. That will force your site to use it.

I do have the same problem. But how can I work with anything as I can’t register to admin panel? How to work from “insights” or using phpMyAdmin XAMMP mysql site (not by FTP/SFTP you mentioned?) – where to go first?
