Can't do the job by itself

I am installing a clean wordpress on my machine (localhost) and trying to copy the online content (a few thounsand images and posts). The only way I could do that with the importer is to import posts&pages with this plugin and images with the Attachment Importer plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/attachment-importer/).
