I updated the plugin today to version 7.80 ( I also have the unlimited extension plugin, but that wasn’t the issue, even though I updated that as well.) This caused a bug where the backup did not properly acrhive my database and I was also unable to download the backup file afterward using the immediate download button or by going to the backups section to try to download from the list of backups. In chrome browser, this gave an error saying the download file was not available from this site.

I resolved this by rolling back to version 7.78 of the plugin (which I happened to have on hand and just re-uploaded.)

Just leaving this here to report and so that other users can find a solution if they need a temporary fix until a patch comes through.

Thank you for reporting the issue you encountered with version 7.80 of the All-in-One WP Migration plugin and for detailing your solution. It’s great to hear that rolling back to version 7.78 resolved the problem for you.

Although no widespread issues have been reported with version 7.80 that specifically affect the backup and download functionalities, it’s possible that unique server settings or specific configurations could contribute to such problems. Here are some steps you can consider to further investigate or address similar issues in the future:

    1. Review the error logs on your server for any specific messages that could provide insights into what might be causing the issue.

    2. Ensure your PHP settings, such as memory_limit, max_execution_time, and post_max_size, are sufficiently high to support the processes of the plugin.

    3. Temporarily deactivate other plugins to determine if there might be a conflict affecting the All-in-One WP Migration plugin’s functionality.

    4. Since the error was noted in Chrome, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser to rule out browser-specific issues.

    5. As a user of the Unlimited Extension, you can also reach out to our premium support for personalized assistance. They can provide detailed help and investigate if there are any issues specific to the plugin version or your setup.
