Cant download files anymore

  • Hello

    We cant download files without turning the setting unmask off. What is the problem. Also the open in new window doesn’t work anymore. How do we fix this. I do not see any conflict and I change theme to default and still no success.

    Please help to fix this ??

    Seems to work on wordpress 5.5 but not 5.5.1

    It may happen due to js error coming from any other plugin or active theme on your site frontend. Please give me an URL to check.

    I have similar problem. I couldn’t download rar, zip, etc.
    In my case, the BackUp WP plugin was the problem.

    It worked once for me, but now a modal with Download and the file name comes up when you click the Download button, but nothing is downloaded and there is no way to get the file. There are no errors in the console. I disabled all non-essential plugins (like backup and caching). No change.
