Can’t Download Themes

    I have downloaded themes in the past with no problem, but now, on this updated theme page – themes.wordpress.net – when I click “download” my browser comes up with a page of code. I tried several browsers. IE, instead of the code gave me a message that said it did not know how to handle the file.

    I am on MAC 10.3.9 and Firefox 2.0.0.4

    Any ideas how I can get the theme I need?

  • Keep trying. I’ve seen that several times — usually after clicking to download then changing my mind and cancelling the download.

    If you do respond to this, please provide the link of the theme your are trying to download so we can test it.

    Thanks for responding. I have tried this theme several times, both last night and this morning. https://themes.wordpress.net/columns/2-columns/3266/lemonade-10/
    I also tried one other and had the same problem.

    I was able to download “Pool” from the featured themes with no problem.

    Works okay for me–got another computer you can try it with?

    Boot up my PC? Eeewwww ??

    Actually I found one I like just as well, and it downloaded fine. Not sure what the difference is but some work and some don’t. Go figure.
