Cant drag menu item to sub menu!?!?!

Hey guys, when i go into my menu settings (the drag and drop page) i can drag and drop all of the items and place them anywhere i want.. except when i pull them a little to the right (to create sub menu) it doesn’t work. heres a screen shot of what i get
