Can’t drag widgets, Can’t use screen options

    Hey everyone! I was hoping that you could help me with a problem that I am CONSTANTLY getting.
    Okay, so I have JUST installed WP 2.9.2 straight from this site, and the installation process was going smoothly, and when it took me to my admin panel, all my widgets wouldn’t work. All of the data wouldn’t fetch, and I can’t move widgets to the side bars either. I have un-installed and re-installed it constantly, even tried other versions, but still no luck. Then I tried to use the program that my cPanel gives me to install it, but that didn’t work either.
    Then I found a solution for Screen Options… and I tried clicking on that, but nothing shows up. That is the same for the Help option too. Nothing shows, but the URL changes at the end of #screen_options and #help etc… also those little arrows next to the titles of the options on the left sidebar… I can’t click on those either.
    Remember that I just installed it, so all my plugins are de-activated, so it can’t be the plugin problem.
