I updated my broken link checker to the 2.0 version and it shows broken links but doesn’t let me edit them or mark them as not broken like the old version ??

    Hi @aprilnarducci,

We do understand your concern when compared to the old version. The BLC 2.0 is still in beta and we’ll be introducing more features in future updates.

At the moment, I’m afraid what you are noticing is the expected behaviour. There isn’t any exact ETA but hoping we’ll be able to add more improvements down the roadmap soon.

I’ll make sure to bring your feedback to our team’s attention so that they are aware of your concerns.

    Best Regards,

    Nithin

    Hi @wpmudevsupport11
Dang what a shame. I guess I’ll have to downgrade to the original link checker then. Being able to edit and detect the broken links was the whole reason why I downloaded the plugin. Not being able to edit them after finding them is a huge inconvenience. ??

The BLC 2.0 is still in beta ..

Sorry to ask but why on earth do you push beta software in release channel?

Had to urgently roll back to 1.11.21 on various client sites now as same and other similar problems as described here where reported after clients clicked whatever they were offered to click.

    Hi @ov3rfly

The “Beta” word does sound a bit scary but we have done all the tests to ensure the version is safe and functional to be released, the meaning of Beta is that this won’t bring all the features it will help us to take the decision of which features we are going to work next, for example, we noticed the one @aprilnarducci asked is really popular and we passed it to our team.

    Hi @aprilnarducci,

I can confirm our developers will be looking at improving the workflow to have similar features you have requested on the plugin side. While we cannot provide a specific timeline yet, you can get updates on our progress by subscribing to our roadmap at?https://wpmudev.com/roadmap/.

Once new versions are released, any pertinent changes will be described in the changelog, which you can find at:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/broken-link-checker/#developers

Seeing the features raised in this thread have already been acknowledged and are being addressed, I’m marking this as resolved for now.

However, if you have any queries, or information you could share regarding the issues then please don’t hesitate to ask. Thank you for your understanding.

    Regards,

    Nithin
