• I am running a Genesis sample theme. I made changes to the theme using the theme CSS editor under “appearance” and they were successful, until recently. Within the last couple of days I cannot seem to make changes using the theme CSS editor BUT the changes work if I place them in the “additional CSS” section under “customize”. In fact, some CSS that I wrote several weeks back which was working perfectly fine up until now fails unless it is in the “additional CSS” section (I literally copied and pasted it from one editor to the other and it worked again). I have been clearing out my cache as well. I believe there is another person with a similar complaint:

Unfortunately I cannot share what I am working on because it is on a development server behind a firewall and security.

  • I’m sorry but as you appear to be using a commercial theme, you may need to seek support from the theme’s developer/vendor. We do not have access to, nor do we support, commercial products here. Your best bet is always your product’s developer, so we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.
